Crazy In The Craftroom...

From the moment I saw The Bird Crazy set that Tim Holtz designed, I knew they had to come live in my craftroom.  I went to the Stampaway convention in Sharonville several weeks ago and was able to purchase The Bird Crazy set of 6 crazy birds and the Handwritten Sentiments.  And last week I finally received the Crazy Things accessory set, matching framilits die collection and the Crazy Talk sentiment set.

I could hardly wait to start playing with these fun guys!  Seriously, how "crazy fun" is he?!  I cut a stitched panel and ink blended the evening sky and the grass using distress inks.  I then colored my witchy friend using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.  I then cut him out using the co-ordinating die collection and his eyes and beak are popped up.  The eyes and the beak are covered with glossy accents.  The pumpkin is being held in place with his popped up wing. The pumpkin and the witches hat are both part of the accessory stamp and die collection.

I used a star stencil and dabbed them on using Colorbox white pigment ink.  After they were dry, I added some clear wink of stella glitter pen to make them twinkle a bit.

The sentiment comes from the Crazy Talk set.  The whimsy style is so fun.

And here is the completed card.  I layered the main panel on a piece of smokey shadow pattern paper and then added to a true black card base.  These guys just make me smile and I can't wait to spend some more time creating with them.

Well, that's it from here.  I hope that you've had a great weekend.  It's been a chilly one here in Cincinnati.  Fall is definitely in the air.

Thanks for stopping by.
